Our stay was decent, but not without its downsides. The location by the water was beautiful and the beach had amazing tidal pools for kids during low tide. However, the cleanliness of the room left something to be desired, and the check-out process was frustrating due to long lines. While the cabana area is quite charming, it also sacrifices privacy since the cabins are closely packed. Overall, there are definitely better options out there for a return visit.

The room had a comfortable king size bed, but there was a cigarette butt left on the deck and the bedding was pilled.
Service

The front desk was responsive when I reported the issue with the cigarette butt, which was appreciated.

The resort is right on the beach, which is its biggest highlight.

Our family had a lovely weekend getaway in a cabin surrounded by woods, which was very peaceful. The Grotto spa was definitely a highlight, allowing us some well-deserved relaxation away from the kids. However, the cabin had issues with smoke from the log fire, clouding our experience a bit. Dining was enjoyable, but the pizza could use more sauce to enhance the flavor. Overall, a pretty relaxing experience despite a few hiccups.

We stayed in a two-bed cabin that felt cozy but unfortunately filled with smoke from the fireplace.

My stay at the resort was overall pleasant, with beautiful grounds and great accommodations. However, communication regarding discounts was lacking, which was a letdown. The cabin I stayed in was spacious and had fantastic amenities, making it a cozy retreat. On the downside, the dining options at the resort were limited, and some areas felt a bit dated, particularly the spa facilities.

Rooms
9.0
The cabin was spacious with a lovely jacuzzi in the bedroom. It provided a great view of the trees and was well-equipped with a full kitchen and two fireplaces.
Service
9.0
Service was excellent, especially at the spa where the staff was attentive and provided top-notch care.
Location

The resort is ideally located right next to the beach and surrounded by beautiful scenery, perfect for a nature getaway.
Dining

While the dining was good, I found the options too limited and somewhat pricey for what was offered.
Facilities

The facilities were good but could use some updating, especially in the spa area which felt dated.

8.0/10

My stay at the spa resort was a mixed experience. The room was clean and spacious, and I really enjoyed the tranquility of the surroundings. The spa facilities were warm and inviting, and the dining at Cedar’s was delightful, with quality food and great service. However, there were some downsides, like limited activities during the off-season and issues with room service and hygiene supplies that detracted from the overall experience.

Rooms

I initially stayed in a smaller studio but upgraded to a larger suite which was much more comfortable with a full kitchen and nice balcony.
Service
7.0
The service was quite good overall, with prompt responses when I requested items. However, I experienced issues with the online restaurant booking.
Location
8.0
The resort had a peaceful, secluded location. While it wasn't on the beach, the setting was beautiful and made for lovely beach walks.
Dining

Dining at Cedar’s was excellent with a great selection of wines and a very interesting menu. Reservations were an issue though.
Facilities
9.0
The spa and pool facilities were impressive and well-maintained, offering a relaxing atmosphere.
